  1. Add the correct amount of fluorescent tracer additive to the system reservoir.
  2. Operate the System in order to assure thorough mixing throughout -- the size and type of system will determine the mixing time required.
  3. Inspect system (exterior surfaces) with a blacklight for the distinctive fluorescent flow. This will indicate the leak source

MIX RATIOS

INDUSTRIAL OIL DYE
1oz. dye to 1 gallon of oil

INDUSTRIAL HYDRAULIC DYE
1oz. dye to 1 gallon of hydraulic fluid

INDUSTRIAL WATER DYE
4oz. dye to 1,000 gallons water

Yellow Industrial Water Dye.

Due to its intense fluorescence in water, I-094 Yellow Industrial Water Dye is used mainly for tracing and detecting underground streams and water leaks in coal mines, quarries, oil drilling pipe lines and storage tanks, as well as a dye marker in open seas and oceans.

Its intense fluorescence allows detecting in concentrations as little as 1/ppm under ideal viewing conditions.

For detecting leaks in storage tanks, pipe lines, boilers, absorption chillers, etc., 10/ppm is recommended. However, submerged lines could require a higher concentration to allow for a dilution factor. Likewise, under ideal conditions as little as 1/ppm may suffice.
