On Sunday June 14th 2009 the entire club attended the Antique Nationals held at California Speedway in Fontana California.  Track officials did a full tech inspection where the car passed, and soon after allowed Marky to take the P.P.E. on a solo run to see what the car would do.  Cruising down the strip and letting off the throttle at half track the car coasted to a 13.92 at under 100 mph.   

Later that day track officials gave the green light for Marky to make a full exhibition pass.   The P.P.E. was towed up to the front where a burnout was made. Without using its 3,500 stall and Mojave Racing powerglide, Marky came out of the gates slightly above idle then gave the car full throttle. At the 1000 ft. mark the car was coasted the remaining portion of the 1320 and turned an 11.60 at 100 mph.  It is our belief that the car is easily capable of low 10's - high 9's and mph in the 125 range.  So, the car not only starts but goes down the 1/4 mile too .
