This 1940 Plymouth Kustom Pick Up was built by  Aaron Valencia of Lancaster California.

Not your typical Hot Rod either. This truck is a One of a Kind Kustom;
The parallel leaf spring set up front and the two link with modern coil springs in the rear make this truck
a smooooth driver which handles great!

Yes friends even up to 110 mph
cuz
she’s been clocked.

Drive Train:

Drive Train: The mill is a Chevy 350

The mill is adorned with 3 Rochester two barrel carbs,
they all work however only the center one is being used at this time.

The carbs sit atop an Edelbrock intake manifold.
The air cleaners are hand made from 235 Chevy pistons.
Exhaust are home made, yep they may look cheesy but they sound great!

The radiator is an original 3 core Walker. The 350 transmission has been rebuildt and has only approx 1,000 on it. Rear End is a 10 bolt Chevy. The Truck runs real cool,4 hrs up and 4 hrs back to do Viva Las Vegas this year and she stayed steady at 180 at approx 80mph all the way!

Frame:

Frame: Original frame completely boxed, frame is also stepped in front & behind the cab. The Cab is channeled 6” over the frame. With this set up you get a nice lowered truck with lots of leg room inside.

Suspension:

Suspension: Up front is a set of new after market parallel leaf’s and a 6” chrome dropped tube axle with Chevy spindles & disk brakes.

Rear Suspension: Kustom two link set up with modern coil springs placed close to the pivot point which makes for a pretty soft ride.

This car runs and drives great!

Body:

5” chop; roof was stretched and hammered with very little filler.
Front two piece windshield which is real safety glass, No side glass, rear window is Lexan.
Body is channeled 6” over frame; Bed has been shortened 24” and narrowed 6”.
Twisted rod radiator supports really set off the 1932 Ford commercial grill.

Other stuff: Electric is all new, 2 fuse blocks for power
(1) constant 12V. (1) Accessory 12V.
Gauges (1) temp (1) Oil dummy light and (1) Alternator dummy light.
The seats are from a Bass Master 2000 fishing boat
Approx 15 gal gas tank. 1939 Chevy tail lights.

She’s got 15” wheels with brand new G-78 in the front and L-78 in the back.

The Truck eventually made it on the cover of Ol'Skool Rodz
