This is another one from Aaron Valencia and Hell Bound Hot Rods.

What we got here is an original 1928 Ford Roadster which is all real deal steel!

The body of this baby was picked up from a pretty well known local who alleged the thing was an old lakes racer that had been torn down and separated from most of its early components. So with that in mind the car was built with the vision of early day of Hot Rodding by putting the body un-channeled on an aftermarket 1932 Ford frame.

The body was pretty rough at first but with a little work it has been straightened and smoothed out a good 90% and looks great!

The windshield frame came from a 1928 Ford, it has been cut down and the posts have been leaned back to give it that forward moving look while it’s standing still.

The grill shell is from a 1932 Ford and has had an expanded steel insert installed to give it a simple but custom look. The head lights were picked up from a swap meet. And the rumble deck lid now opens in reverse or standard configuration.

The frame has been pinched in front to fit the 1928 cowl it has also been kicked up 18 degrees at the cowl to give the car a real low stance without channeling the body. The rear end has been stepped up 9” with the rear frame horns and spreader bars still attached to give it that Old School look.

The front suspension has a new drop axle with new reversed eye springs to include new shackles and all the rest! The steering and box is from a 1953 Ford F1.

The rear spring is that of 1940 Ford with the spring placed behind the axle, she has early Ford radius rods and the manual air shocks have been installed for adjustability.

Her Mill is a Chevy 350,  It has been milled but nothing fancy.

She adorns a dual quad tunnel ram intake converted to accommodate two, two barrel Rochester carbs.

Finned Vintage Speed valve covers, lakester headers with baffles.

She’s got a TH400 Transmission with a 9” Ford rear end, Wheels, 5 x 5 1/2 bolt pattern.

Front Brakes are from a 1940 Ford. Wheels, 5 x 5 ½ bolt pattern with 670 tires

The interior is all new, new new! Crushed Burgundy and Black Vinyl.

1940 Ford Dash, Old and odd Banjo Steering wheel. Gauges include Oil, Water Temp, and Volt meter.

Electric swirl blade fan. She made the trip to Viva Las Vegas without a hitch; she ran approx. 160 -180 degrees all the way except up that long hill, 200 on a Hot day ….

Gas Tank early oval approx. 9-10 gal.

The color is very unique; we call it Hell Bound Dirty Burgundy.
