1934 Ford Pick'em Up Truck

Currently Registered in the State of California as a 1934 Ford Pick Up.

 

  

This is a one of a kind hot rod, true and traditional styling at its best!

 

"Hot Rod Bob" Built this Beauty from the Ground up!

 

No Tow needed you can Drive this one Home!

 

 

This truck has a very clean Chop of 2" and she's Channeled 1" on Custom 2 x 5 Frame 

 

 

The Frame is very strong and buxom with her Kustom Tubular Cross members.

 

 

 

Suicide in the Front with Model "A" Axel & Hidden Unisteer Rack & Pinion

 

 

Transverse leaf springs w/ standard shocks

 

 

 

Her mill is a completely rebuilt 1956 292 Ford Y Block that has approximately 7,500 logged on her.

All new Parts, Y 270 Isky Cam and comes with Receipts from the Build.

 

 

 

She is a very cool runner with her aluminum radiator.

 

 

4 jet Rochester Carb, Stock 4 barrel manifold.

 

 

 

She's got Custom Headers that have been cut into exhaust underneath to rear mounted Glasspacks!

 

 

She's also got removable block off plates so you can uncork her and wake up the neighborhood! 

 

 

1956 Thunderbird Ford-O-Matic Transmission and Shifter

 

 

Leaf spring rear suspension with standard shocks for a nice ride 

Ford 9" & 3.0 gears makes for perfect highway driving.

  

 

1940 Ford steering column and wheel

 

 

All lights work, 

Working Gauges include Tac, Oil, Amp, Temp & Fuel

 

Speedo "is not" hooked up

 

 

 

Vintage Filler 4 point safety Harness for both driver and passanger.

 

 

 

1959 Cadillac Tail lights in the rear.

 

Very kewl bed that is functional with storage bucket, and permanently mounted tool box

 

Gas tank is also mounted to the bed and holds approximately 18 gallons of gas. 

 

 

 

1940 Ford Front Brakes with scoops on her backing plates.

 

 

She's got commercial "Guide" Headlights "Very Rare".

 

 

 

 

 

650/15 in the front mounted to 1940 Ford Steelies with origional beauty rings and caps. 

 

 

750/16 in the rear. Tires are good and still have quite a few miles in them.

 

 

 

There is a small bit of rot on the rear driver side of the body but other than that the body is very sound and clean.

 

This truck has been pictured in several magazines which include, 

Ol'Skool Rods, Burnout, CK Deluxe and was featured in Rolls & Pleats # 23 Nov. Dec. 2006

 

 

She has been to Viva Las Vegas several times, Back to the Beach and plethora of other shows 

where "Hot Rod Bob" has received accolades for her traditional style and beauty.  

She took "Best Truck" at the 3rd annual Primer Nationals and has also received 

trophies and ribbons at the Rat Fink Party and several local cruise ins.
